Xerox Technical Minority Scholarship

The Xerox Technical Minority Scholarship provides awards ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 for undergraduate and graduate minority students in technical disciplines that include the chemical and material sciences, engineering disciplines, information management and physics.  All applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and be enrolled full-time.  For more information, visit:

“Launch Your Dreams” Scholarship Competition

For US veterans and children and spouses of US veterans.  This scholarship is for US veterans and their spouses and children. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to enroll in continuing education and be legal residents of the United States. The qualifying veteran must have been honorably discharged. AMERICAN ACADEMY OF CHEFS COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP

These scholarships are for exemplary students who are either currently enrolled as culinary arts majors or pastry arts majors at in an accredited college, or who are ACFEF registered apprentices. American Board of Funeral Service Education (ABFSE) National Scholarship
Deadline: September 1              Award: $500 to $2,500
This scholarship is for students who have completed at least one semester (or quarter) of study as a funeral service major or mortuary science major in a program accredited by the ABFSE. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have at least one term or semester remaining in their program that will start after the award date. Students with less than a full term remaining will be considered for partial scholarship awards. Applicants must be US citizens. To apply visit:

Arthur M. Godfrey Aviation Foundation General Aviation Scholarship Competition
Deadline: September 1              Award: $5,000 to $10,000
This scholarship is for aviation students. There are two categories of scholarships: The private pilot, light sport, or A&P certification category is open to applicants ages 16-20 years at the time of application. This scholarship limit is $10,000. The advanced certification category is open to applicants ages 18-25 years at the time of application holding a current private pilot license. Deadline: September 15            Award: $3,500 to $5,000 
This scholarship is for college students who have completed half the requirements for a degree that will lead to a career in the hospitality industry, such as interior design, asset management, architecture, textile design, or hotel/restaurant management. HISPANIC HERITAGE YOUTH AWARDS

This scholarship is for current high school juniors (rising seniors) who are of Hispanic/Latino descent (at least one parent). Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale or 7.5 GPA on a 10.0 scale and be US citizens or permanent residents. Applicants must be willing to travel at their own expense to the awards ceremony in their selected region (regions include Los Angeles, Houston, New York, Chicago, Washington DC, Dallas, Miami, Northern California, Denver, and Phoenix); ceremony attendance is absolutely mandatory for scholarship recipients. QUESTBRIDGE NATIONAL COLLEGE MATCH SCHOLARSHIPS
Deadline: September 26     Award: $100.000 renewable     DACA & UNDOCUMENTED  students 
This scholarship program is for high school seniors who have shown outstanding academic ability despite facing economic challenges. Most College Match scholarship recipients come from households earning less than $60,000 annually (for a typical family of four) and have experienced long-term economic hardship. Applicants must plan to graduate from high school during or before the spring/summer of 2015 and enroll as freshmen in college in the fall of 2015. Non-US citizens, undocumented, and international students are eligible. Recipients are granted admission to one of QuestBridge's partner colleges with a full scholarship. LATHAM DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP FOR LAW STUDENTS

This scholarship is for students who are enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school and intend to practice law in a major city of the United States. Siemens Competition in Math, Science & Technology Scholarship Awards
Deadline:  September 30              Award: $1000  to $100,000
This scholarship competition is for high school students who are US citizens or permanent residents (green card holders). Students must be in good standing, enrolled in, and attending one of the following: high school (grades 9-12) in the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Wake and Midway Islands, or the Marianas; Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) school; foreign school as an exchange student or because your parent or guardian lives and works abroad; or homeschool. This scholarship for students who have either been directly or indirectly affected by cancer. John S.W. Fargher Scholarship -  Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE)

This scholarship is for active members of IIE who are pursuing a graduate degree in industrial engineering or engineering management. To qualify, applicants must have a full year of school remaining and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection for this scholarship is based on GPA, IIE student chapter involvement, and nomination letter. Applicants must be nominated by a faculty advisor or department head. This scholarship is for first and second year physician assistant students. Educational Administration Scholarship AwardAmerican Association of School Administrators (AASA)

This scholarship is for graduate students majoring in school administration. To qualify, applicants must be pursuing a career in school superintendence. Only one candidate may be submitted by each college or university campus, and each candidate must be recommended by the dean of the school of education in which the candidate is enrolled. If a nominee is selected to receive this award, the nominee must be a member of or apply for membership with AASA at the aspiring superintendent rate. This scholarship is for American students who are pursuing a degree and wish to study in France as part of their degree program or to receive the degree from a French institution. Helicopter 2050 ChallengeBy Kids For Kids Company              DACA Students can apply

This contest is open to kids 9 to 16 years of age who are legal residents of the United States or District of Columbia. To enter, applicants must come up with a vision or design for the helicopter of 2050. Entries will be judged based on the uniqueness of the concept, description of the invention/idea, and creativity. The Comparecards.com Monthly Scholarship
Deadline:  varies, usually mid month     Award: $2,500     Eligibility: No citizenship required
Each month CompareCards will award $2,500 to any qualifying college (or college bound) student in need who can answer a tricky trivia question. Using their best pop culture and math skills, and probably a bit of help from Professor Google, students should be able to answer a series of questions to arrive at a final answer in no time!
After the submission deadline, CompareCards will gather all the correct answers and a tiebreaker question will be emailed, with a link to submit the answer.
