      *INTEL SCIENCE TALENT SEARCH AWARDS

Deadline: November 13  Award: $100,000. This science research competition is for students in their last year of high school. To apply, applicants must present a full, scientific report about research of their choosing in the areas of science, math, engineering, and/or medicine. Forty finalists will receive an all-expense paid trip to Washington DC to attend the Intel Science Talent Institute from March 6-12, 2014. The visit includes final in-depth judging, visits to historic sites and cultural institutions, and meetings with national leaders and prominent scientists and engineers. The top ten award winners will be announced at the black-tie gala to be held on March 11, 2014. See website for full details and instructions.     *A.O. PUTNAM MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: November 15   Award: $700. This scholarship is for active members of IIE (the Institute of Industrial Engineers). To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be full-time college undergraduate industrial engineering majors, have at least a 3.4 GPA, and be enrolled in a school in the United States, its territories, Canada, or Mexico.     *DWIGHT D. GARDNER SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: November 15  Award: $3,000. This scholarship is for active members of IIE. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be college undergraduates enrolled in an industrial engineering program at a school in the United States, its territories, Canada, or Mexico, and the school’s industrial engineering program or equivalent must be accredited by an agency or organization recognized by IIE.     *PH.D. ENGINEERING FELLOWSHIP

Deadline: November 15  Award: Varies. This fellowship is for underrepresented minority students who have completed, are currently enrolled in a master’s in engineering program, or received admittance into a PhD program directly from a bachelor’s degree program.     *PH.D. SCIENCE FELLOWSHIP

Deadline: November 15   Award: $16,000. This fellowship is for minority students who are pursuing doctoral degrees in the natural science disciplines – chemistry, physics, earth sciences, mathematics, biological sciences, and computer science. Visit  https://www.gemfellowship.org/gem-fellowship


    *SIEMENS-ASCP SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: November 15   Award: $1,000. This scholarship is for student members of ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology). Applicants must be in the first year of clinical study in one of several qualifying programs, listed at the link above. Visit http://www.ascp.org/scholarships


    *DELPHIX TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP FOR WOMEN

Deadline: November 17  Award: $5,000. This scholarship is for women who are full-time college students pursuing technical degrees like computer science, mathematics, information technology, etc. Applicants must be full-time students when applying for the competition in 2013 and during the beginning of the 2014 calender year. To apply, applicants must submit a software project that they developed outside of school or paid work.     *DELTA AIR LINES ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: November 18   Award: $5,000. This scholarship is for members of Women in Aviation, International. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be currently enrolled in a baccalaureate degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical, electrical, or mechanical engineering. Applicants must be full-time students at the junior or senior level with a minimum of two semesters with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. In addition, to the $5,000 scholarship, the recipient will receive a trip to the 24th Annual International Women in Aviation Conference. Applicants must be US citizens or eligible non-citizens.     *NATIONAL PHYSICAL SCIENCE CONSORTIUM FELLOWSHIPS

Deadline: November 30  Award: $20,000. These fellowships are for US citizens who are planning to pursue or currently pursuing graduate degrees in the physical sciences and related engineering fields. Recipients will receive a $20,000 annual stipend, allowing for them to also hold a research or teaching assistant-ship. Visit  http://www.npsc.org/index.html


    * POINT FOUNDATION THE NATIONAL LGBTQ SCHOLARSHIP FUND 
Deadline: open from November to January for Application Part I. Point Foundation empowers promising LGBTQ students to achieve their full academic and leadership potential – despite the obstacles often put before them – to make a significant impact on society in the field of engineering. Point Scholarships are awarded on a "last provider" basis. Point fills in the gaps and provides funds not provided by other scholarships, grants, loans, work/study programs, etc. It is the responsibility of those selected as Point Scholars to secure as much outside funding as possible. Point is not intended to be, and cannot be, the sole source of support because there is no guarantee that the financial support will be the same each year, nor will it be provided each year. The scholarship amounts funded by Point each year depends on other financial support that Point Scholars receive from individuals, other foundations or grants, as well as the financial health of Point. HubShout Online Marketing Scholarship

November 1     $1,000     College Sophomore – Graduate Students

This scholarship is for students who are on the path to a business or marketing career that will involve online marketing. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have completed at least one year of postsecondary education, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate a passion for online marketing.

Soroptimist Live Your Dream Awards

Deadline: Nov 15     Award: $10,000     Eligible Grade Levels: College freshman – College senior - DACA or Undocumented Students can apply!


This award is for women who provide the primary financial support for their family (including children, spouse, siblings, and/or parents). To qualify, applicants must demonstrate financial need and be enrolled in or have been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program.  This award is for women who provide the primary financial support for their family (including children, spouse, siblings, and/or parents). Symantec Research Labs Graduate Fellowship

Deadline: November 30      Award: $20,000

To qualify for this fellowship, applicants must attend a US college or university and be enrolled in a doctoral or master’s programs focused on technology research. Preference will be given to students with a desire to work in an industrial research lab and those working on research projects likely to have real-world practical value to customers, in areas related to Symantec’s businesses of information security, availability, and integrity. *THE WOCN NURSING ACCREDITED SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline: May 1 & November 1     Award: $5,000

This scholarship is for nursing majors specializing in WOCN or wound, ostomy, and continence nursing care. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must prove one of the following: acceptance in a WOCN-accredited WOC Education Program; current enrollment in a WOCN-accredited WOC Education Program; or certificate of completion from a WOCN-accredited WOC Education Program within three months of completion. GMP  MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Deadline: November 1            Award: $2,000  to $4,000  renewable

This scholarship is for high school seniors who are children, stepchildren, and adopted children of GMP members (Glass,  Molders, Pottery, Plastics & Allied Workers or GMP International Union). To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolling in a four-year college/university pursuing a bachelor's degree, or enrolling in a two-year vocational/technical/two-year associate's degree certificate or training program. The college, university, trade, or professional school must be located in the United States or Canada. Although recipients may pursue any regular program of college studies, the GMP is hopeful that they will give consideration to such fields as ceramic engineering, industrial relations, or fields of related to the trade union movement. The Comparecards.com Monthly Scholarship
Deadline:  varies, usually mid month     Award: $2,500     Eligibility: No citizenship required
Each month CompareCards will award $2,500 to any qualifying college (or college bound) student in need who can answer a tricky trivia question. Using their best pop culture and math skills, and probably a bit of help from Professor Google, students should be able to answer a series of questions to arrive at a final answer in no time!
After the submission deadline, CompareCards will gather all the correct answers and a tiebreaker question will be emailed, with a link to submit the answer.
