We have been in existence since 1996 and throughout the years been able to bring to St. Louis audiences a variety of activities and events, which include:




-2013 HAC awards the 7th annual John F. Garganigo Scholarships to Hispanic college students at Washington University in St. Louis. 

-2013 HAC presents its 2nd Hispanic College Fair at St. Cecilia School  in south St. Louis on Novermber 10th.

-2013 Argentinean Dance Group 'Che Malambo' at Edison Theater, collaboration with Edison Theater on November 2013. 

-2013  HAC annual concert presented Puerto Rican Afrorican Jazz trumpeter Wiliam Cepeda and his band  in partnership with The Sheldon Concert Hall on October 2013.

-2013 HAC is invited to Busch Stadium by the Cardinals to have the HAC Carlos Beltran Scholarship Award Ceremony in which 8 Latino college students received scholarships to further their college studies by former all star Cardinals outfielder Carlos Beltran.

-2013 HAC took two groups of Latino kids to the Science Center for half a day of fun on July 16 & 22.

-2013 HAC accompanied the first ever 'Carlos Beltran's Budies'  group of Latino kids who were named by former Cardinals all star outfielder Carlos Beltran at Busch Stadium on July 10th.

-2013  HAC & 30 Latino kids attended the Hispanic Family Day at the Ballpark as guests of the former all star Cardinals outfielder Carlos Beltran on March 11.

-2013 HAC presents its 1st Hispanic College Fair at St. Cecilia School in south St. Louis on April 2013.

-2013  HAC presents the 'Road to College Map' workshop to students and parents at Confluence Academy, March 2013.

-2013  Spanish Classical Guitarrist Rafael Aguirre in concert at the Ethical Society collaboration with the Classical Guitar Society on March 23.

-2013 HAC Universidad YA! Higher Education Task Force gives the 'Road to College Map' workshop to 45 Pattonville High School Students at Washington University on March 6th.

-2013 Paco Pena Flamenco Dance Company at the Touhill , collaboration with the Classical Guitar Society on February 28.

-2013 Spanish Classical Duo Virtuosi presenting Virginia Luque  at the Ethical Society of St. Louis, collaboration with the Classical Guitar Society on January 26.

-2012 Latin jazz trumpeter Arturo Sandoval and his band in concert at The Sheldon Concert Hall, co-presented between the Hispanic Arts Council & The Sheldon on October 6th .

-2012 Latin jazz pianist Chucho Valdez and his band in concert at The Sheldon Concert Hall, co-preented between the Hisapnic Arts Council & The Sheldon on February 11th.

-2012  Latin jazz and Beep Bop ‘Poncho Sanchez and his Band’ at the Touhill Performing Arts Center, Hispanic Arts Council Group attending the show on April 20th.

-2012 'Ballet Hispanico' from New York at the Edison Theater, Hispanic Arts Council Group attending the show on March 2nd.

-2012 'West Side Story' Broadway musical at the Fox Theater, Hispanic Arts Council Group attending the show on February 23rd.

 -2012 Cuban Latin Jazz pianist Chucho Valdez and The Afro-Cuban Messengers in concert co-presented by Hispanic Arts Council of St. Louis and The Sheldon, sponsored by Anheuser-Busch Co. on February 11th.

-2012 'The History of Jewish People in Cuba' lecture by Dr. Joseph Schraibman from Washington University in St. Louis. Co-presented by The Hispanic Arts Council of St. Louis and the Newmark Institute on January 25th.

-2011 Chilean Classical Guitarist Carlos Perez in concert organized by the St. Louis Classical Guitar Society on December 3rd, in collaboration with the Hispanic Arts Council of St. Louis.

-2011 Upstream Theater stagging of Spanish playwright Federico Garcia Lorca's 'Blood Wedding' from October 7th to 23rd, sponsored by HAC who organized a group to attend with discount tickets.

-2011 Peruvian Classical Guitarist Jorge Caballero in concert organized by the St. Louis Classical Guitar Society on September 24th, in collaboration with the Hispanic Arts Council of St. Louis.

-2011 Museum guided tour for HAC group of 'Cryptic:The Use of Allegory in Contemporary Art with a Master Class from Goya' exhibit at Contemporary Art Museum on July 10th, organized by HAC.

-2011 'Bittersweet Harvest: The Bracero Program 1942-1964' Two tours of the Smithsonian exhibit and two discussion panels with scholars expert on the topic at MO History Museum in June and July organized by the HAC.

-2011 HAC 'John F. Garganigo Scholarship' awarded to 10 first generation college bound Latino students in partnership with Washington University in St. Louis. 

-2011 'Fiery Pool: The Maya and the Mythic Sea' exhibit presented by St. Louis Art Museum. HAC sponsored the exhibit and organized two guided tours.  

-2011 'The Death of Atahualpa' Incan folkloric tale adapted by Philip Boehm and stagged by Upstream Theater. HAC sponsored the play and collaborated with Upstream Theater.

-2011 Russian Spanish Classical & Flamenco guitar virtuoso Grisha Goryachev in concert at Ethical Society. HAC collaborated with the  St Louis Classical Guitar Society which organized this concert.

-2010 Classical Guitar Duo Melis (Spanish Susana Prieto  &  Greek Alexis Muzurakis) in concert at Ethical Society. HAC collaborated with the  St Louis Classical Guitar Society which organized this concert.

-2009 Mexican singer & composer Lila Downs and her band in concert at The Sheldon Concert Hall.

-2007 Andean Music Trio Chaskinakuy in concert at The Sheldon Concert Hall.

-2006 Venezuelan pianist Claudia Calderon in concert at The Sheldon Concert Hall.

-2003 St. Louis pianist Anne Klein in benefit concert for La Clinica Latino Health Centers at The Sheldon Concert Hall.

-2001 Brazilian Jazz duo Flora Purin & Airto Moreira in concert at The Sheldon Concert Hall.

-2001 Tango Ball with Argentinean dancers Nito and Elba at The Sheldon Ballroom. 

-2000 'Buena Vista Social Club'  Cuban musician Compay Segundo in concert at The Sheldon Concert Hall.
